Implemented the pre-launch strategy that I advised him during a coaching session and immediately got 3 enrollees for his Website Building Masterclass that isn’t even finished yet.

THE STORY

Homerson is a digital coach and founder of the Digital Masters Academy. He is a former bank employee who wanted to transition into online business by launching his first online course.

THE EXPERIENCE

We dived into a coaching call to assess whether to launch a live workshop or an online course on website development. And as he said...

“Yung malaking tulong ni Coach Allan dun is hindi ko alam ang strategy nun eh. I have to test the course kung may bibili, yung pre-launch na yun. Simple lang talaga pero malaking bagay talaga sya sa akin kasi wala akong idea on launching an online course. Right now, inuulit ulit ko lang yung pre-launch strategy.”

THE RESULTS

He got clarity that launching an online course, not a live workshop, is the best path to take and instantly got 3 enrollees in the pre-launch alone.

Number one problem is hindi ko alam paano i-solve yung problem.”

The online course is about helping fellow business owners build their website.

But doing it via a live workshop or online is his biggest dilemma.

He has an idea on what to do but he isn’t sure if it’s the right thing to do.

“May idea pero hindi ko masasabi na yun ang tamang dapat gawin. Parang walang clear direction kung anong dapat gawin.”

He tends to implement his own ideas so he can’t see the chance or probability of its success.

He ended up doing trial and error. And it made him realize that it would have been easier if there’s someone who can guide him.

THE ACTION - "My biggest "AHA" moment"

Homerson has gotten help before but it’s more of the know, like and trust principle which, according to him, is not what he needed at that time.

So he asked his fellow entrepreneurs about some people that they follow.

“One of the persons na pina-follow nila is Coach Allan.”

And when the opportunity came to have a coaching session with me, he grabbed it.

“Alam ko kung gaano sya ka-busy pero nabigyan nya ako ng time na turuan. Well-known na sya sa digital marketing. Pero kahit kilala na sya that time, di sya mahirap lapitan.

When I talked to Homer, he wasn’t finished yet with his course. In fact, he’s still working on the first module at that time.

“Yung kay Coach Allan ang big factor na nabigay nya eh yung tip na i-assess ko yung course ko mismo, testingin ko. Tinapos ko lang yung module 1 and dahil 3 modules yun, may one week na pagitan after the 1st week.

And since Homer is an action taker, that’s exactly what he did.

“Ginawa ko yun sa pre-launch kasi original price ko is 15k then nag-installment ako ng 18k per student. Mas maraming nag-enroll sa installment option that time.”

THE RESULTS - “Nung nag pre-launch ako, may 3 agad nag-enroll. Nung nag-end ang enrollment, pumalo ako sa P150,000 for my first launch.”

After Homer applied what we’ve talked about during the coaching session, he was able to instantly get 3 enrollees in the prelaunch alone. But when the initial launch had ended, he generated almost P150,000.

“And maganda dun, wala pa kong sales page at that time, Facebook group lang. Binigyan din niya ako ng konting tip and structure, yung AIDA. Sa kanya ko first time narinig yun.

And more than just the outcome of his first launch, he said...

“Isang characteristic na nagustuhan ko sa kanya is he is always willing to listen. Sige lang, ibato mo lang ng ibato yung concern mo and then i-aabsorb nya at i-turn nya into something na magbibigay sayo ng solution.

Pag first time nyo nag-usap, hindi mo maikwe-kwento lahat eh, but he is reading between the lines. Ikwento mo lang yung part ng problem mo and then parang he can decipher. He was able to give some tips or advice na pwede mo gamitin.

Powerful yung he can read between the lines about sa problem.

Yung attitude niya as a coach, yung value niya to other people, ganun kataas. And alam mo na kahit hindi niya alam yung buong story behind your struggle, nadidissect niya just by listening to your story.
If ikaw yung solopreneur and you’re looking for someone who can coach you na yung approach hindi lang puro theoretical or by the book.

Kung ano yung na-experience niya at yung kailangan mo malaman at kung ano ka, parang pinagsasama niya yun, parang recipe yung binibigay mo sa kanya and then lulutuin niya na isang meal na magugustuhan mo.”
